Meet Maximus 💛
Maximus (or Max for short which he already listens to) is a handsome tabby boy with perfect white socks and a colorful belly that he proudly shows off once he trusts you — a sure sign you’ve earned his heart. He came from the Perth area, where a kind family fed him outdoors, and it’s hard to believe he was ever a stray. After just a few days in foster care, he proved to be incredibly affectionate and trusting — someone, at some point, clearly loved this sweet boy.
Max loves nothing more than being part of the family. He’s happiest curled up on your lap watching a baseball game, sitting beside you sharing his little chirpy “stories,” or purring loudly while making biscuits to show his appreciation. He is gentle, clean, loves his food, and has excellent litter manners — everything is neatly covered, thank you very much! 😄
This sweet boy enjoys quiet companionship and will sometimes tuck himself under your chair to have his own little safe spot — still close enough to let you know he’s there, chirping softly as his way of saying “I love being near you.” He doesn’t really know how to play with toys yet, likely because he never had any, but with patience and encouragement, he may discover the joy of toys in his forever home.
Maximus got along well with other outdoor cats and met a gentle dog at the cattery, before going to foster home, without any issues. In foster care, he was the only pet and did wonderfully too. We believe he would do well with a calm, friendly kitty companion or with someone who is home often to share quiet moments with him.
Because he values peace and gentle surroundings, a calm household would suit him best. His forever family should allow him a little time and space to settle in — once he feels safe, you’ll have the most loyal, affectionate companion by your side.
