Lady Anna – A long-haired beauty.
When Anna first arrived from the Lancaster colony, she had the saddest eyes her fosters had ever seen on a cat and was completely shut down. Frightened. For months, she would literally freeze the moment she spotted anyone, human or feline. She would only come alive at night; her foster would hear her investigate every cupboard and corner of the house in search of food (she is verrrry food motivated + very clumsy

)Her fosters took things extremely slowly with her, fully respecting her boundaries and her own timeline, not forcing anything, just providing safety, enabling solid foundations for the rest of her indoor life.
And it worked! Fast forward to this day, the difference is real: Anna’s nervous system found its way out of survival mode and entered full-on discovery mode! She now explores the house freely any time of the day, lounges comfortably in common areas like she owns the place (the kitchen, especially 
), and is continually working up the courage to push past her fears and connect with her fosters.

Thus, not a lap cat yet, but she’s heading there: ready to move to this next chapter with a patient adopter, in her forever home 
Her fosters believe Anna would thrive with a patient adopter who gets it, speaks “feline” or “trauma” (or is willing to dive deep into these languages), and understands that the payoff is absolutely worth the wait. A quieter, smaller environment, like an apartment, with one person or a calm household would suit her best. She’s fine with other cats and getting familiar with dogs, but she’s also navigating fine on her own as the only “Lady” in her domain.
She is endearingly clumsy. She has a curious and playful energy, a “presence” and a surprisingly big personality peeking through her still-timid nature.
Anna is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
