Sweet Auntie required a special surgery that changed her life. 👀 ⬇️

🐈 Auntie came to us as an owner surrender. Her previous person was diagnosed with cancer, only months after her husband had passed away. 😢

Auntie is six years old and required surgery to separate her fused eyelids. Her condition is a birth defect and she has struggled with limited eyesight her entire life, doing her best to see through the tiny opening her eyelids will allow. After years of pain and narrow visibility, it was time to open Auntie’s world to new sights and experiences. She’s loving it!!

Affectionate, curious, and full of quiet charm, Auntie feels most confident when she can have a feline companion to share life with. You will often find Auntie following her cat friends from room to room, curling up nearby for naps, or engaging in gentle play. Having another cat helps Auntie feel safe, happy, and more like herself. Auntie is incredibly affectionate and many of the cattery kittens turn to her for her kind comfort. She is wonderful with other animals.

Her litter habits are impeccable, she is quiet, kind, wise and perfect in so many ways. Can you tell how much we love her?

Auntie is searching for a home where she will not be the only feline. She truly thrives with other cats around her, whether it is a new buddy or a friendly resident cat already in the home. She is deeply adored by all of us and it will be a very special applicant that gets to bring her home.
