Berkley’s past hasn’t been easy. He was dumped at a rural colony where he was bullied by dominant males, often forced into hiding just to stay safe. Because of this, he’s understandably cautious and takes time to feel secure. But with patience and kindness, Berkley begins to show his sweet side—leaning into gentle pats and absolutely melting for chin scratches.
This lovely boy is searching for a calm, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to truly blossom. He may spend his first days (or even weeks) tucked away, but he will come around when he feels safe.
Berkley has impeccable house manners—he uses his litter box perfectly, isn’t picky with food, and happily uses his scratch post. He’s a low-maintenance companion who doesn’t demand constant attention, making him a great fit for a family that may not be home all day.
What Berkley would truly love is a feline friend. He gains confidence from other cats and especially enjoys playful, friendly companions. He’s also respectful of polite dogs and will simply keep to himself around them.
