When settling into a new home, he may choose a cozy hiding spot, not out of fear, but because he feels safest observing the world from a calm, tucked-away place. With patience and gentle interactions, he is already beginning to show his desire to connect.
Bowie is starting to come out of his shell in the most endearing ways. He enjoys soft affection, especially a gentle stroke on his nose between his eyes or a scratch under his chin. He even melts in your arm when you pick him up and purrs. He is not a dominant cat and thrives in a peaceful environment where he can relax and feel secure.
He is also discovering the joy of play, recently becoming completely mesmerized by his wand toy! While he is still a bit reserved and likes to carefully analyze anything new or unpredictable, with time and trust, he is sure to grow into more confident and energetic play sessions.
Bowie has excellent litter habits and absolutely loves his cozy caves, where he can rest and recharge in comfort.
As he continues to build trust, Bowie will blossom into a deeply affectionate and devoted companion. He is looking for a calm, loving home where he can move at his own pace and feel safe again. Bowie would do great as an only cat or in a home with other feline friends. He is very respectful and gentle around other cats, making him a great addition to a home with other cats.
