Handsome tabby boy Chromium has come a long way since arriving in foster care. This independent fellow was determined to keep his distance at first, turning every interaction into a game of tag! Catching him was nearly impossible, and trust came on his terms.
With patience, consistency, and lots of respect for his boundaries, Chromium has made incredible progress. These days, he no longer runs away, allows himself to be picked up and accepts gentle pets without complaint. While he’s not yet the type to shower you with purrs and cuddles, he quietly tolerates affection and continues to learn that people can be trusted.
Chromium is looking for a patient home that understands relationships take time and that every small milestone is worth celebrating. Watching this hard-headed but handsome boy continue to blossom will be a rewarding experience for the person willing to let him progress at his own pace. 🩶🐾
