Meet Courtney 💗
Courtney is a beautiful, fluffy young lady with the most vibrant green eyes and mile-long whiskers. Under a year old, she came from a difficult start in life, where a kind senior was caring for a small outdoor colony. Having never been properly socialized, Courtney simply needed a little extra time, patience, and TLC to decompress.
Today, she’s become such a sweet girl that she absolutely melts the fosters’ heart. 💗
When Courtney arrived in foster care, she was severely underweight with visible bald patches throughout her coat. Thanks to nutritious food, treatment for parasites, and lots of love, she’s made an incredible transformation. Her gorgeous long fur is growing back beautifully, she’s filling out nicely, and she proudly carries her feathery tail high wherever she goes.
She’s learning to trust the other cats in her foster room, though she’d still rather not share her newly discovered treasure—wet food! 😉 Giving her a separate feeding station solved that little issue perfectly.
Courtney has excellent litter box manners and happily uses scratching posts. She would thrive in a quiet home, either as an only cat or with a calm, cat-friendly companion. Because of her experiences outdoors, she is very frightened of dogs, so a dog-free home is essential.
