Davey’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. He came into our care after his family lost their home — a heartbreaking reality many are facing. Despite all the changes, Davey has shown incredible resilience, blossoming into a loving, social companion who’s ready for his fresh start.
These days, Davey is the first to greet you when you walk into the room, happy to see you and ready for company. He enjoys the simple things in life — lounging by a sunny window, watching the world go by, or stretching out on a cozy rug.
Once a timid boy, Davey has truly come into his own and now proudly claims his title as a majestic lap cat. He absolutely melts for head pets, lifting his chin as high as he can in the sweetest little gesture of trust. For now, he prefers affection focused on his head and front half, as his back end is still a bit sensitive — but with time and patience, he may just discover the joys of those famous “elevator bum scratches.”
