Hovis is a handsome buff boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. 🧡
At just 1 year old, Hovis has proven himself to be an all-around amazing companion. He came to us from a large intake in Eganville, where we’re helping a struggling family care for over 20 cats from a single home. Despite the big changes, Hovis handled it all like a champ—no hiccups, no stress, just pure goofball energy.
Within a day of arriving in foster care, he made himself right at home—polishing off a boatload of food, exploring his surroundings, and then claiming the best seat on the couch for a well-earned nap. It didn’t take long for everyone to fall in love with him.
Hovis has fantastic eating habits (you’ll definitely know when it’s mealtime—he’ll happily escort you to the kitchen!) and perfect litter box manners. He’s playful and curious, always ready to chase toys, climb cat trees, or sit and watch the birds from the window.
He’s also incredibly affectionate—loving neck scratches, belly rubs, and snuggling up in bed with his person at the end of the day. Coming from a large group, Hovis is well-socialized and does great with other cats, kids, and even dogs.
This sweet, easygoing, and lovable boy would make an incredible addition to just about any family. We already adore him—and we know you will too. 🏡
