Meet Hugo, a sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. After the heartbreaking loss of his owner, Hugo arrived at Biscuits and Purrs Cat Rescue and is now adjusting to a big change in his world. Despite this, he is already beginning to settle in his foster home and is rediscovering comfort in his new surroundings.
It did not take long for his personality to shine! Hugo is a total love bug who never stops purring! He adores humans and will happily greet you with affectionate leg rubs and soft chats just to say hello. In fact, he even chooses snuggles over snacks, soaking up every bit of attention he can get. This gentle giant is not shy about making himself at home, he is curious and confident, happily exploring every nook and cranny before returning for a friendly leg rub and a little chat to say hello. He has also started show interest in playing with his wand toy.
In his foster home, Hugo has shown wonderful manners. He uses his litter box like a superstar, and has a calm, easygoing nature. He has been calm and unfazed around other cats. He tends to ignore Bowie (his foster brother) and the resident cats on the other side of the door, showing little interest in interacting or engaging in play, while remaining relaxed in their presence. He would do well with other cats in the home or as a solo cat.
