The power of rescue is in our strength together. We can help cats like Jack, if we’re united-financially, emotionally and in our objectives!
Sweet Jack officially joined the Biscuits and Purrs Cat Rescue family, and today we’re asking our Biscuit Brigade to rally around him 💛
Jack had been living as a stray in Orleans for over a year, cared for by community members. When he suddenly stopped eating, concerns grew—and thankfully, help came just in time. We took Jack into our care yesterday in critical condition: dehydrated, lethargic, unable to eat, and struggling to breathe. He was given only a 50% chance of surviving the next few days.
X-rays revealed fluid in his belly and one lung. Jack spent the night at the vet receiving medications, bloodwork, and supportive care.
He’s receiving additional medication to help drain the fluid and will need another X-ray to monitor his progress. But there is hope—Jack is just a little bit better, and that’s everything right now.

We are all volunteers, so 100% of donations go toward the cost of the care of our cats.
Thank you for standing with Jack. Together, we will give him a fighting chance. 🐾💙
