Jackson—better known as Jack—is a striking 5-year-old buff-and-white gentleman with a big sturdy build, an even bigger heart, and a whole lot of love still waiting to be shared.

Jack’s story didn’t start in comfort. He spent over a year surviving as a stray in Orléans, quietly making his way with the help of kind community members who looked out for him along the way. When he eventually came into rescue after suddenly stopping eating, it marked the beginning of a much brighter chapter: one where he could finally rest, heal, and be safe.

And what a transformation it has been!

Jack is one of the gentlest souls you could meet. Once he realized he was safe, his affectionate personality came pouring out: leaning into pets, seeking out attention, and happily accepting every bit of love offered to him. He doesn’t just enjoy affection… he quietly asks for it in the sweetest ways.

Jack is also a certified foodie and never misses a meal. Wet food, dry food, treats—if it’s edible, Jack is interested. His enthusiasm for snacks is only matched by his enthusiasm for people. Call his name and he will often come right over, ready to see what’s going on and hoping it involves attention (or snacks… ideally both).

He is a social boy who gets along well with other cats and has even shown comfort around dogs. Jack also has a charming habit of “grooming” his humans with gentle sandpaper kisses before settling in close for a cuddle session—his way of saying you are part of his circle of trust.

Jack is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and fully ready for his forever home.
