🐾❤️ Meet Lou — the ultimate charming toddler boy! ❤️🐾
We’re thrilled to say that Lou is doing SO well and is finally ready for his big debut! 😻
Lou had a rough start after arriving with painful burns that made eating difficult. After two weeks of A/D food, hand-feeding, medication and lots of rest, this little guy is back to eating enthusiastically and is FULL of toddler energy! 🎉
Lou is sweetness personified. He loves his humans and will happily be your shadow, sidekick and personal bodyguard all rolled into one. He even sits on the tub ledge while his foster showers to make sure the evil water doesn’t get them! 😂
This boy is also a professional snoo-purr-visor. Dishes? Lou’s there. Making dinner? Lou’s there. Reading? Lou’s there. Bathroom? Yep… Lou’s there! 😂 He is incredibly curious and loves investigating cupboards, drawers and every little space he can squeeze into.
And this boy is SMART! It took him approximately two minutes to figure out where the kitty food cupboard was — and how to open it! 🤦♀️😂 We’re still working on counters and toilet-paper shredding, but Lou is highly trainable and will get there with consistency.
When he isn’t busy supervising, Lou loves his automatic laser pointer, tunnels, ball tower and chasing fuzzy balls around the house. And now that his mouth has healed, he has discovered that FOOD IS AWESOME! Wet food, leftovers, Churus… and Temptations? He’s all in! 😹
Lou would love a family who can keep up with his energy — perhaps one with playful kids, or an adult home where someone works remotely and can keep him company. A playful feline friend is a must, as Lou absolutely LOVES other cats and would thrive with a buddy. He may also do well with a cat-savvy dog.
His new family will need to do a little Lou-proofing — wires, strings, high-up adventures and tempting mischief spots will need some attention — but with patience and consistency, this smart, silly boy is going to make someone an absolutely wonderful companion.
After everything Lou has been through, he deserves the very best. ❤️
