Meet Lucky 💛
Lucky is a sweet, sensitive boy with a gentle soul and so much love waiting beneath his shy exterior. After arriving in his foster home, he needed some time to feel safe enough to leave his carrier, and he is still learning that this new environment is a place where he can relax and trust. Big changes can feel overwhelming for Lucky, but even through his uncertainty, he has remained incredibly gentle and kind-hearted.
What Lucky truly needs is someone willing to give him patience, encouragement, and steady affection while he builds confidence. His foster has already seen how much progress he can make when someone takes the time to help him feel secure. Beneath the nervousness is a cuddly, loyal companion who wants connection more than anything, sometimes he just needs a little reassurance to believe it is okay to come closer.
Lucky’s previous family shared that he had been feeling stressed before coming into care, including hiding and losing interest in food, so it is no surprise he needs a calm and understanding home while he settles in. With consistency, love, and gentle attention, Lucky has all the potential to blossom into an affectionate best friend who will form a deep bond with his people.
Lucky came into care with his mother, Princess, who he has lived with his whole life. While they do share a close history and bond, since arriving into their foster home they have mostly preferred doing their own thing and have not shown much interest in spending time together. Because of this, Lucky would do perfectly well being adopted individually into a patient, loving home where he can continue building confidence and settling in at his own pace.
Lucky is neutered and will be ready for adoption soon.
