Luna came to us as an owner surrender following a breakup in her home. When she first arrived, she was scared and deeply shaken, but she’s already made incredible progress. She has blossomed from a terrified kitty into a sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl—still a little timid, but full of quiet charm.
Luna enjoys having her own space and currently prefers spending time in her cozy room, but she happily comes out to greet her foster—especially when she hears it’s treat time. She’s learning to trust and now allows pets, even on her tummy, though she’s not quite comfortable with her paws being touched just yet. She tolerates brushing and combing, and since she arrived with some matting, she’ll soon be getting a grooming to help her feel her best.
She’s a wonderful eater, keeps a tidy space, and has excellent litter box habits. Because she can be sensitive to sudden movements—especially fast or open hands—Luna would do best with a calm, patient adopter who will approach her gently and give her the time she needs to continue building confidence.
Luna has been through a lot, but her resilience shines through. Like the many phases of the moon, she is ever-changing—growing brighter each day. 🌗 🌕  With love and patience, she will continue to open up and become an even more devoted and loving companion.
