Peanut

Mae is bonded with her sister Peanut and these two girls were once strays, cared for by a kind person who wanted to help them find a safe and loving forever home. Now, these two beautiful tabby sisters are thriving in foster care — and Mae is ready to steal your heart.

Mae is the more outgoing of the pair, full of gentle affection and playful charm. She loves to greet her foster every morning with purrs, cuddles, and dramatic belly flops asking for rubs. Once she feels comfortable, Mae becomes a wonderfully chatty and snuggly companion who will happily keep you company throughout the day.

Mae has the classic tabby stripes and a darker nose, which set her apart from her nearly identical sister, Peanut — who has a pink nose, circular tabby markings, and stunning olive-green eyes. The two are a bonded pair and do everything together — from mealtime to playtime to cozy naps.

Mae loves chasing springs and laser pointers, enjoys her kibble (and a bit of wet food as a treat), and always keeps her litter box tidy. She’s also curious and polite with the resident dog and one of the calmer cats in her foster home.

Mae and Peanut would do best in a calm, patient household where they can take their time settling in. Once they feel safe, Mae’s affectionate personality and loving bond with Peanut will fill your home with warmth, joy, and soft purrs.

💛 If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion — and are open to welcoming her equally lovely sister — Mae is ready to meet you!
