Marmalade is wonderfully chatty and loves to “talk” to her people, often greeting you with adorable high-pitched squeaky meows—though her pitch changes depending on what she has to say. She thrives on attention and may even show a hint of playful jealousy when her sister Twix is getting all the love!
While Marmalade enjoys being petted and will happily purr away, she prefers affection on her terms. She isn’t a fan of being too close and may scoot a few inches away while still clearly enjoying the interaction. She’ll tolerate being picked up when needed, but she can be a bit squirmy, making it clear that cuddling in arms isn’t her favourite pastime.
Marmalade also has a stunning cream-and-white patch on her long tail that perfectly matches her elegant calico coat. She’s a confident, expressive girl who will do best with someone who appreciates a cat with boundaries, personality, and lots to say.
