Mikinak was found as a stray near Blair Road, and while we don’t know what he was up to before coming into care, we’re fairly certain he was conducting very important neighbourhood inspections.
This sweet, friendly guy has never met a stranger. If you’re sitting down, he’ll happily flop beside you—on the couch, the floor, your lap, or directly in the spot you were about to use. Personal space? Mikinak hasn’t heard of it.
He’s delightfully chatty and always has something to say, especially if wet food is involved. He’s also a professional explorer with a particular talent for investigating cupboards, squeezing into questionable little hidey-holes, following his people from room to room, and trying to solve the age-old mystery of what could possibly be behind that closed door.
Mikinak is equal parts affectionate, curious, and wonderfully weird. If you’re looking for a cat with a big personality, plenty of opinions, and a talent for making you laugh every single day, Mikinak might just be your perfect match.
