Meet Moufassa — a gentle, fluffy boy finding his confidence one day at a time 🖤
Moufassa arrived in our care alongside his companions, Davey and Gizmo, after their family experienced homelessness. Despite the upheaval, this medium-to-long-haired black beauty is slowly learning that he’s safe — and his sweet personality is beginning to shine through.
While Moufassa still spends much of his day tucked away in cozy hiding spots, his bravery really comes out during the quieter hours. In the mornings and evenings, he’ll venture out to ask for pets — and yes, he will demand them! With his fluffy tail held high like a proud little skunk, he greets his trusted humans with soft meows and happy purrs that are incredibly rewarding to witness.
He’s also quite the little observer, especially when it comes to watching squirrels dart around outside the window. And like many curious cats, he has a mischievous streak — particularly when it comes to houseplants (don’t worry, he’s gently redirected every time!).
Moufassa enjoys the company of other cats and would likely thrive with a calm, friendly feline companion he can bond and cuddle with. He’s been known to play a bit at night, though he can be a little timid and may need support at mealtimes, as he’s easily pushed aside by more confident kitties.
At heart, Moufassa is a soft, sensitive soul — not the boldest, but full of love to give. With patience, a peaceful home, and maybe a cuddly cat friend, he will continue to blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion.
