Munchkin is a gentle, resilient girl with a soft and loving nature. Even when she is extremely scared, she remains calm and non-reactive. When she first arrived, she was understandably terrified and stayed tucked inside her carrier until she was given a cozier, more secure hiding space. After losing her owner, she needed time, patience, and reassurance to begin feeling safe again.
Munchkin has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), often referred to as “the wobbles.” Her CH is mild and non-progressive and does not cause her pain or affect her quality of life. She can walk, run, and jump onto higher surfaces with confidence—she has climbed into the bathtub on her own and can jump from a chair to the dining table. Her wobbles do not stop her from enjoying life or exploring her surroundings.
She is sweet, sensitive, and slow to trust, but once she feels secure, her affectionate side begins to shine. Recently, Munchkin has started spending time outside her room, choosing shared spaces like the living room and often sleeping on an 11-year-old’s bed alongside her companion, Lilo. She has also begun approaching people on her own for pets, a meaningful sign of how much trust she has rebuilt.
Munchkin will thrive in a calm, patient home that understands her needs and allows her to continue opening up at her own pace. In return, she offers quiet affection, resilience, and a truly special bond.
