Murphy is an almost 2-year-old tuxedo boy with a soft heart and a gentle presence. Rescued as a stray, he quickly adjusted to indoor life and has grown into a calm, affectionate companion. A true gentle giant at 12 pounds and nearly two feet long, Murphy loves stretching out on the top of a cat tree or watching birds and squirrels from his favourite window.
Shy at first, Murphy simply needs patience and a quiet environment to feel safe. He took about three days to settle in his current foster home before bravely venturing out to meet the family in the family room; a small but meaningful milestone. Once settled, he blossoms into an easy-going, intelligent, and loving companion. He has excellent litter habits (a larger box is recommended due to his size), enjoys dry food, and adores lickable treats. Wet food isn’t his favourite, but kibble makes him very happy.
Murphy is polite, quiet, and gets along well with gentle, respectful cats. He isn’t a fan of hyper dogs but does fine with calm ones. Affectionately known as “Uncle Murf,” he has a nurturing, peaceful nature and would thrive in a quiet home with a cozy nap spot, steady meals, and someone willing to give him time to settle in.
Murphy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—and ready to reward his future family with quiet companionship and trust.
