Olive’s story began in a large outdoor colony where life was incredibly challenging. As a young kitten, she faced daily uncertainty—food was scarce, clean water wasn’t always available, and safety was never guaranteed. Despite those hardships, Olive has shown remarkable courage and resilience.
Since coming into foster care, Olive has made incredible progress learning that people can be kind. When she first arrived, she was so frightened that she would race to the farthest corner of the room whenever someone entered. Today, she happily comes to greet her foster at the door and is learning to enjoy gentle pets—especially when Temptations treats are involved! 🍗
Olive currently shares her foster room with Jamie, another cat from the same colony. She has a calm, easygoing nature and has never shown a hint of aggression. She’s friendly, quietly curious, and takes comfort in the company of other cats. Mealtime is her favorite part of the day, and despite her difficult beginnings, she happily shares her food bowl with Jamie.
With her beautiful markings and gentle spirit, Olive has a way of capturing hearts without even trying. She may not be the cat who demands attention, but she is the kind of companion whose small milestones and growing trust feel incredibly rewarding.
