Meet Olive 🫒 – One of Lancaster’s Three Brave Kittens
Olive is known in her foster home as one of the Three Brave Kittens from Lancaster. She came from a large outdoor colony where life was incredibly tough—especially for a young kitten. There was no reliable food, no guaranteed safety, and even clean water was hard to come by. Of the three, Olive is the bravest and has made incredible progress learning to trust humans. She’s now happily accepting gentle pets (especially if you bring Temptations treats as an offering 🍗).
Olive has made wonderful progress, while in foster care. When she first arrived, she was very scared and would run to the farthest corner of the room whenever someone entered. Now she’s gaining confidence and will sometimes even greet her foster at the door. 🐾
Olive has never shown a hint of aggression — she’s calm, friendly, and quietly curious about the world around her. She’s excellent with her litter box and mealtimes are her favourite part of the day. Despite coming from a rough start, she shares her food bowl without a single hiss or fuss and enjoys mealtime peacefully with her foster friend Jamie.
She’s learning that life indoors is safe, warm, and full of love. Olive has beautiful, distinct markings and a soft, sweet presence that will melt your heart. With a bit more time and patience, she’ll blossom into a truly affectionate companion.
Olive is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to continue building trust. She has the most beautiful, sweet face, and as her personality continues to blossom, it’s sure to match that adorable little look. While she’s still a bit hesitant about pets, she’s making small improvements every day.
