Princess is our absolutely adorable little tuxedo cat with a very special personality. She is a “wobbly” cat, meaning she has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a condition that affects the part of the brain responsible for coordinating movement and balance. The condition is not painful, and Princess has no idea that she’s any different from other cats!
With lots of love, encouragement, and play therapy, Princess has been getting stronger every day, and her balance has improved significantly. She especially loves playing with twine balls, wand toys, and just about any kind of track toy you can put in front of her.
And when playtime is over, Princess is a professional snuggler. She loves curling up with her people and soaking up all the affection she can get. This sweet girl may be a little wobbly, but she has a huge personality and an even bigger heart. ❤️
She is bonded to Checkers as the two are very special friends and bring out the best in one another. He pounces on her, wrestles with her, steals her toys—and Princess happily gives it right back! She pounces, wrestles, and chases after him as best she can. Princess is a strong-willed little girl, and we believe much of that confidence comes from having Checkers by her side. His playful, uninhibited spirit encourages her to be adventurous, active, and confident in herself.
While Checkers would likely adapt well to a loving home on his own, Princess truly needs her best friend, Checkers. Through his energy and enthusiasm, she sees possibilities for herself and continues to thrive. Their friendship is incredibly special, and Checkers’ loving, carefree nature brings out the very best in her.
