Meet Rose 🖍️🐾

Rose has recently undergone an eye surgery to allow her eye to fully open.  At the time of her arrival with us, her eye was in rough shape and needed veterinary attention.   Post surgery, her eye is healing very well, a few stitches (as you can see on her picture) are still to come out after which she’ll be perfect in no time. Our Directors and her foster can provide more details during a video chat (if you’re interested in meeting Rose or learning more about her).

Rose is a beautiful tabby with a calm, tender personality that makes her truly special. She was surrendered after being abandoned in a house, but she arrived safely in our care. Despite her uncertain start, Rose has shown incredible resilience and quiet strength as she settles into her new space.

Rose’s foster tells us that she’s no longer timid.  She will melt your heart with her soft purrs, love of gentle pets, and the sweetest little meow. She is such a sweet, loving cat and incredibly affectionate, truly one of the most loving cats you could meet. Her favourite place to sleep is right on your pillow, closest to her person. She is also quite playful and really enjoys playing with tunnels.

In her foster home, she has formed a good friendship with the resident dog, has met a rabbit without concern, and seems unfazed by other cats. This shows just how gentle and adaptable her nature truly is. She would do well with another friendly cat. She is wonderful with children and lives comfortably with kids ages 9 to 16. She uses the litter box perfectly and happily eats both wet and dry food.

If you are looking for a calm, deeply affectionate companion with a quiet charm and a resilient spirit, Rose may be the perfect addition to your family. Watching her continue to grow and thrive will be a truly rewarding experience. 🐾
