Meet Rose- ⅓ of the Crayola Crew 🖍️🐾
Rose is a beautiful tabby with a calm, tender personality that makes her truly special. She was surrendered after being abandoned in a house, but she arrived safely in our care alongside her sisters Violet and Scarlett. Despite her uncertain start, Rose has shown incredible resilience and quiet strength as she settles into her new space.
Rose is the most relaxed of her trio, taking her time to come say hello, but once she does, she will melt your heart with her soft purrs, love of gentle pets, and the sweetest little meow. She is such a sweet, loving cat and incredibly affectionate, truly one of the most loving cats you could meet. Her favourite place to sleep is right on your pillow, closest to her person.
Currently, Rose is still receiving eye drops to help clear up her eye infection, and there has already been encouraging progress, her eye is now able to open halfway, but through it all, she has not let it slow her down. She remains comfortable, content, and continues to show just how adaptable and strong she is.
She is becoming more confident every day, now exploring the entire house with curiosity. She has formed a good friendship with the resident dog, has met a rabbit without concern, and seems unfazed by other cats. This shows just how gentle and adaptable her nature truly is.
Rose would do best in a patient, understanding home that can continue her care and give her time to fully blossom. She is wonderful with children and lives comfortably with kids ages 9 to 16, though she prefers gentle interaction and is not currently a big fan of being picked up (unless it’s by someone she trusts). She uses the litter box perfectly and happily eats both wet and dry food.
