Sasha — an incredible transformation story ❤️
When Sasha first arrived in care last fall, she had been labeled as a TNR cat by another rescue. With patience, love, and time, she has completely blossomed into the most beautiful, calm, affectionate girl imaginable. Watching her come out of her shell has been nothing short of amazing! Her foster shares that if their house were not already full, she would absolutely be a foster fail 🫢❤️
Sasha will be nervous at first as she adjusts to a new home, new people, and a new routine. But once she feels safe, her true personality shines through: cuddly, loyal, attention-seeking, and full of love. She forms deep bonds with her people and becomes the sweetest companion.
She has adapted wonderfully to her foster home’s busy household and absolutely adores their other cats — both the resident cats and foster cats alike. Sasha will definitely need a feline friend in her forever home, because she gains so much confidence and comfort from other cats. She also does very well with respectful older children and currently loves spending time with the kids in her foster home (ages 11 & 13).

While Sasha is playful when encouraged by another cat or a fun toy, she’s overall a relaxed and easy-going companion. When she’s done soaking up attention, she simply walks away like the independent queen she is 👑
Sasha’s ideal home would be a quieter one without dogs. While she tolerates the ones in her foster home by avoiding them- loud or rambunctious dogs make her uncomfortable and she prefers to retreat and hide.
She’s easy to trim nails on, though she strongly disagrees with the existence of cat carriers, so vet trips may require a little creativity and bribery 😂
All around, Sasha is truly a diamond of a cat 💎 One lucky family is going to gain the most loving, loyal little shadow once they earn her trust. Sasha is the true definition of cat rescue and our mission here at BPCR.
