Hi, I’m Tara, and I am wondering why no-one applied to adopt me yet. I’m a stunning grey tabby and white beauty with a luxurious mane, a calm presence, and a heart that’s ready to share with the right person. Some cats are love at first sight… but I’m the kind of girl that needs time in and loyalty and consistency to prove that we are a good match. Once it becomes clear that we are compatible, we are in for a long, loyal, loving relationship together. 🩶
I won’t be the one racing 🏍️ across the room on our first date or jumping into your lap before you know my favourite snack. I like to take a little time to check things out 🔬 and get comfortable with new people and situations. But once I know I’m safe, my sweet and affectionate side starts to shine.
I eagerly greet my foster mom at the door, especially when I suspect snacks 🍬🍭 might be involved. Okay, I’ll admit it—I LOVE food. Treats are definitely the way to my heart, and they bring out my extra-loving side 💚. While my foster mom prepares my meals, I happily supervise from my cat tree, offering plenty of encouragement and the occasional head butt to keep things moving along.
While I can still be a little cautious at times, I’ve really started to flourish with my foster family. They understand that I appreciate a peaceful environment, and their support has helped me grow more confident every day. I’ve even decided that the small human in the house is worthy of petting privileges—as long as they remember to move slowly, which isn’t exactly their natural speed!

Tara is such a special girl, and we know there’s a very special family out there for her. Her forever home should be on the quieter side, with a person or family who will give her time to settle in, respect her pace, and keep the treats coming. Watching Tara continue to blossom will be incredibly rewarding, and her future family is in for something truly special. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
