Thomas is one of our newest intakes, and we’re so grateful we were able to step in just in time. He was scheduled to be euthanized due to dental issues, but we pulled him from OLC (One Last Chance- a group that pulls animals from euthanasia at overcrowded pound facilities) and he’s now safe with Biscuits and Purrs Cat Rescue. His dental care was completed by our rescue on March 16th.
Thomas is a charming, affectionate boy who settled beautifully into foster life after his recent dental procedure—he’s recovering like a champ. From the moment he arrived, he’s shown just how adaptable and loving he is, quickly getting comfortable in his foster room and now confidently exploring more of the house.
It’s easy to imagine Thomas was once a cherished companion. He adores attention and seeks out human connection, whether that means curling up on your chest to purr and make biscuits or loyally following you from room to room (future adopters should note: he may double as a gentle “trip hazard” in his enthusiasm to be near you).
Thomas is declawed on all four paws 😭. This painful procedure has been made illegal in most areas. He has excellent litter box habits and a healthy appetite. He’s also quite playful, enjoying a variety of toys, with a special fondness for catnip balls.
He’s particular about a few things in an endearing way—preferring to drink from a glass dish rather than a fountain or ceramic bowl, and tolerating daily grooming, though he’s still negotiating terms around one stubborn mat. This handsome long-haired boy has a soft, beautiful coat that will need regular brushing to keep him looking his best. Thankfully, Thomas doesn’t mind the extra attention at all—because he absolutely loves affection.He is currently adjusting well to the presence of a dog, choosing to keep a respectful distance while he builds confidence.
Thomas would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of affection and companionship. With his sweet nature and playful spirit, he’s ready to become someone’s devoted shadow and cuddle buddy.
