Tigris is a prime example of the power of foster care. On the day he arrived, he was so frightened that he could barely be touched or even seen. Fast forward time and with loving care in his foster home – Tigris is now officially a 100% LAP CAT! You’ve read that correctly- a 100% loving lap cat who chooses to spend his entire days on his foster mom’s lap at every possible opportunity. He has made friends with the resident house cat too.
If you love a sweet Tabby (and, who doesn’t), please consider Tigris. He may take a bit of time to settle pending a change to a new home but if you give him a chance you’ll be rewarded with the love and loyalty of the sweetest boy. Please note that Tigris would be best to be the only cat in his forever home. He loves other cats and gets along very well with them but he finds changes very challenging and adores humans most of all. We feel that he would settle most quickly in a home with just people, where he didn’t also have to navigate cat relationships in a new environment. We aren’t ruling out a home with another cat but we think his transition might be easier without one.  All of this can be discussed with Tigris’ wonderful foster mom who is a wealth of information and happy to chat to ensure the purrrrfect match is made for Tigris and for you!
