Tootsie comes to us from the Cedar Shade Trailer Park in Alfred. After being fed by campers and tourists, this park was closing leaving a small colony of cats to fend for themselves.
Tootsie is a pretty Tabby and White girl with a beauty mark on her nose. She is a quiet girl who is still getting used to her new surroundings.
Tootsie has progressed from being absolutely terrified to now accepting pets and responding to affection. She will require a patient adopter who is very experienced with shy cats and is up to the challenge of patiently, consistently and gently working with her to gain her trust. It can be done but it will take time.
Tootsie has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
